The Maple Leafs will receive the better of the 3rd round picks the Kings own at the time of the 2026 NHL Entry Draft. If none of the 3rd round picks from the team of origin qualify for the 2025-26 NHL Stanley Cup Playoffs, then the Maple Leafs will receive the lower of the 2026 3rd round picks. If however the Kings qualify for the 2025-26 NHL Stanley Cup Playoffs the Maple Leafs will receive the Sabres 2026 2nd round pick as a result.
