Why We Built This
Finding NHL trade data shouldn't feel like a research project. We kept running into the same problem — platforms that had the information but made it painful to find, or sites that looked great but only scratched the surface. We wanted something that did both: a clean, modern experience backed by genuinely deep data. Something where you could look up a quick trade and end up going down a two-hour rabbit hole because the interface actually made it enjoyable.
The Goal
We're building toward a platform that doesn't just catalog trades — it helps you understand them. That means layered context around every deal: who moved, what picks were involved, what conditions were attached, and eventually, how those moves actually panned out. We want to keep pushing what's possible with trade data — connecting the dots across players, picks, and teams in ways that give you a fuller picture of every deal. And beyond the analysis, we want this to be a place where people can explore, create, and share their own takes on the moves that shape the league.
What We Value
We care about two things more than anything: getting the data right and keeping the experience clean. We'd rather be simple and accurate than flashy and overwhelming. The goal isn't to throw every stat at the wall — it's to surface the ones that actually tell a story. We spend a lot of time thinking about how to make complex trade data feel intuitive, whether you've been following the league for twenty years or you're just trying to figure out what your team gave up at the deadline.
Get Involved
This platform was built by hockey fans who gossip over trades — the good ones, the bad ones, and the ones that aged like milk. We're not building this in a vacuum, and we don't want to. Jump into our Discord to be part of the conversation, use the feedback button to tell us what's working and what isn't, if we got something wrong, or just share a trade page with someone and start an argument. If you want to help keep this thing running, our Ko-fi page is there for you. Every bit of support helps us ship faster and build better.
